Report abuse

Every lander on nics.dev is a plain for-sale page: a domain name, a price or make-offer form, and a link to contact the owner. Landers carry no third-party content and no editorial input from us — but if a domain hosted here is being used to impersonate a brand, host a phishing page, or otherwise cause harm, we want to know.

How to report a listing

Email abuse@nics.dev with:

• The domain name in question.
• What's wrong with it — phishing, trademark misuse, illegal content, etc.
• Any supporting evidence (a screenshot, a link, correspondence).

We reply and act on abuse reports within 2 business days. Confirmed phishing or malware takes a lander offline immediately; we do not wait for the response window in those cases.

Trademark disputes

A for-sale lander is not evidence of bad faith on its own — domain resale is a legitimate, long-standing market. If you believe a domain infringes a trademark you hold, the standard venues for a formal dispute are:

• UDRP (Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy) for generic top-level domains such as .com, .dev, and .net — filed with an ICANN-approved provider such as WIPO or the Forum.
• .eu ADR at the Czech Arbitration Court, for domains under the .eu TLD.
• Your national registry's equivalent dispute policy for country-code TLDs such as .nl or .de.

We comply with the outcome of any such proceeding. You're welcome to email us in parallel, but the registry-level process is binding on the domain itself; we only control the lander that sits in front of it.
